Is Cannabis deficiency making you sick By Sista Vee Nohombile (Author of Cannabis is The Human Companion Plant)
Is cannabis deficiency making you sick? For three decades now people have been joking about the idea that any person could possibly suffer from “Cannabis deficiency”. But don’t laugh too hard! Many scientists are now studying the newly discovered physiological system known as The Endocannabinoid System (EC System or ECS). You could say that the ECS is another body part that we were never taught about. The truth is that we were all born with a natural need for Cannabis.
Why does Cannabis medicine work so well?
There are two main reasons why Cannabis medicine works so fast and effectively. First, human beings are born with a system of receptors which require Cannabis for supplementation. The receptors of the ECS are called Cannabinoid receptors.
Second, we are also all born with chemicals inside our bodies that imitate certain chemicals inside the Cannabis plant. These chemicals are referred to as Cannabinoids. The cannabinoids produced inside our bodies are called Endocannabinoids. We have the human version of every cannabinoid found in the Cannabis plant inside our bodies.
Our bodies need vitamins, amino acids, anti-oxidants and other chemicals to survive. We also need the chemicals found in Cannabis to maintain good health. (Mauro Maccarrone, 2016) There are over 180 different cannabinoids found within the Cannabis plant. The two most well known cannabinoids are THC and CBD.
Do other plants contain cannabinoids?
Many cannabinoids found in Cannabis are also found in different plants other than Cannabis. For example, black pepper, coffee, Echinacea, black truffles, flax linen seeds and even cocoa contain cannabinoids like CBD. Chocolate always makes people feel better. This is especially true for many women suffering from menstrual problems because chocolate is loaded with Cannabinoids.
What is so special about THC?
THC is unique because it is only found in the Cannabis plant! Many scientists agree that THC is the most important pharmacological component of Cannabis. Without THC some cannabinoids would not function or even occur in ratio to the presence of THC in the plant. (Sim-Selley, 2003)
The human version of THC is known as Anandamide which is the Sanskrit word for ‘bliss’. Anandamide is even found in human breast milk! But the mother and baby’s ECS must be fully functional and supplemented with the chemicals from Cannabis. If not, then even breast-fed children stand a good chance of developing medical conditions. (Niaz et al, 2018)
How long have human beings used Cannabis medicine?
The ECS is a very real biological system. And like all our other systems it also needs to be fed and supplemented to avoid deficiency and illness. The truth is that we have not only had the ECS since the 1990’s. Human beings have always been successful in healing medical conditions with Cannabis. This is because of the presence of the ECS in the human body. In fact Cannabis can heal over 677 known medical conditions. (Encod.org 24 September 2012) No other medicine can make this claim. Traditional Chinese Medicine has been using Cannabis for over 5000 years. They have always known about the system of receptors inside the human body that needs Cannabis for healing.
Is Cannabis deficiency a ‘real thing’?
It was a scientific surprise when in 2004 the medical world finally acknowledged Cannabis deficiency. Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency Syndrome (CEDS) is an umbrella term for a group of illnesses, including fibromyalgia, migraine and gut problems. This is because without doubt all of these diseases and so many others are all linked to Cannabis deficiency. (Dr Ethan Russo, 2016) Respected scientists now believe that Cannabis deficiency is the cause of many devastating diseases.
What medical conditions are caused by Cannabis deficiency?
Some medical conditions where the ECS is implicated and prove that sick people are in fact Cannabis deficient include:
- Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia
- Cystic fibrosis and fibromyalgia
- Depression and anxiety
- Gut conditions like IBS, Crohn’s disease and liver disease
- Menstrual problems
- Multiple sclerosis
- Parkinson’s disease
This is good news for Cannabis medicine because this confirms that human beings are designed to consume Cannabis. Science is now proving that we need Cannabis to fight these modern diseases that medicine says are incurable. Cannabis deficiency causes disruption to many of our systems in the body. This causes imbalance that can lead to more serious and life-threatening health problems.
How can you avoid Cannabis deficiency?
Unfortunately some people never produce enough cannabinoids and are constantly unable to heal and repair damage from disease. If your body does not produce enough endocannabinoids then you need Cannabis medicine to overcome disease and depression. This is exactly why Cannabis works so exceptionally well for so many different medical conditions. It doesn’t seem to matter what wonder drug or treatments doctors use. Sadly, in most cases the benefits only last a short while before the symptoms return.
A healthy ECS is the new age answer to fully healing the body from any disease. This is because the ECS controls so many of our other systems for example the Endocrine (hormone) system. Humans may need cannabinoids to live a normal healthy life. Are you getting yours? There is more scientific evidence in favor of Cannabis medicine than for any of the pharmaceuticals available. The fact that Cannabis has healed every type of cancer it has been tested against is now well established. (Dr C Sanchez, 2014)
Research reveals that Cannabis is actually an amazingly composed substance. Cannabis poses no risk of overdose and only a slight risk of addiction, like that of craving coffee or chocolate. This is no surprise as both contain various cannabinoids. There is also absolutely no scientific evidence that Cannabis causes any form of brain damage. In fact Cannabis actually helps us to generate new brain cells! (We will learn more about this in next week’s post.)
Scientists and doctors are coming to the conclusion that many diseases are caused by a simple deficiency of Cannabis. People who gain relief of their symptoms by consuming Cannabis are simply supplementing a deficiency of their ECS. (Tambaro and Bortolato 2012)
We must not wait until we are old and sick before we start to realize the importance of the benefits of inviting Cannabis into our lives. A life time of pharmaceuticals and poor nutrition will give you serious endocannabinoid deficiency. This leads to oxidation within the body that causes wrinkles and old-age diseases. (Alban, 2018) Ancient knowledge and new scientific research prove that the future of human health lies within the Cannabis plant.
