Cannabis and body balance by Sista Vee Nohombile (Author of Cannabis is The Human Companion Plant)
Cannabis and the ECS are both greatly concerned with maintaining body balance. It is responsible for promoting body balance because of the presence of the ECS. The biological process of homeostasis depends on Cannabis to maintain balance in the body.
Homeostasis refers to the stable internal environment within the human body. Imbalance in the body results from changes in the external environment because the body is unable to cope. Balance in the body is necessary for survival and Cannabis can help us because illness is the result of imbalance.
How does Cannabis maintain balance in the body?
Each of our physiological systems has a point of balance which must be maintained to ensure excellent health. Cannabis assists the ECS to maintain balance physically and chemically within the body. The ECS regulates brain, endocrine and immune tissues and this literally makes the ECS a bridge between body and mind healing. This also explains how our state of consciousness can promote our health and healing. The ECS depends on chemicals from Cannabis to promote balance in the body and mind.
Cannabis can offer healing that contributes to achieving longevity, by maintaining balance in the body. In last week’s blog post we learnt that Cannabis create new brain cells. Cannabis also has extraordinary antioxidant properties and kills free radicals in the body. The connection between Cannabis and longevity is desired by most people but only once they get to a certain age. We must resist the temptation to simply wait until old age illnesses fall upon us or our loved ones.
Cannabis can cure diseases that result in imbalance in the body for example, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and depression. It can literally reward people with wellness that can last a lifetime because we need balance in the body.
Cannabis promotes body balance through its regulatory role in the hormonal system.
It’s a scientific fact that the ECS regulates the activities of the endocrine system. Both systems are responsible for homeostasis in the body and thus control internal and external balance in the body.
The endocrine system is also known as our hormone system and we must never underestimate the power of hormones. Hormones are the chemical messengers in the body and they literally run the show and also control our DNA. You could say that Cannabis is the plant whisperer of human DNA because of its regulatory role over our hormone system. This has helped us to understand some of the mechanisms by which Cannabis is able to heal so effectively.
Cannabis can help us to sleep, and to overcome many of life’s stresses. Stress and sleep deprivation are two of the biggest causes of all medical conditions and both result from hormone imbalances. You can see how a lot of diseases start off due to a hormonal problem. Cannabis can heal us from so many diseases because it can influence our hormones. We need Cannabis to maintain balance in the body to avoid disease. Knowledge like this should make us realize that Cannabis has the most profound effect on the human body and mind. We need Cannabis to support the ECS to stimulate and balance the endocrine system in the body.
“Cannabis helps to produce serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world”. Carl Sagan
Cannabis not only balances the body but can also balance our spiritual health
On a spiritual level it is interesting to note that the endocrine glands are directly aligned to the chakra system. What is the ‘chakra system?’ This is not a physical system but rather a system made up of spiritual elements of consciousness. Chakras are energy centers in the body and we all have seven main chakras. The position of each of the chakras directly corresponds to the position of the particular endocrine gland which it affects. For example, the pineal gland is aligned to the crown chakra or third eye. Reiki healers focus on the chakras in their work which proves the connection between mind, body and spirit healing. Cannabis works with the chakras to ensure balance in the body.
Why is the chakra system so important?
The main control structure for our entire chakra system is found in the endocrine system, our hormone system. This is why each endocrine gland is precisely lined up to a specific chakra. By stimulating and balancing the endocrine system we can open up our spiritual chakras for complete healing. Most people don’t even know that we have a chakra system, let alone where it is situated. For a lot of people the chakras are just another body part like the ECS that we weren’t taught about.
Cannabis can help us to open our chakras to maintain balance and health in the body. it also regulates the ECS and the ECS controls the endocrine system so we can see that Cannabis also regulates the chakras.
And so Cannabis creates expanded space for energy to flow freely in the chakras and the physical body and this ensures balance. This is because of the frequency vibration of the plant that is 432 Hz. When the chakras are opened blockages are cleared and physical, mental and spiritual healing begins. Cannabis balances the body by opening and unblocking the chakras which is a prerequisite for healing. The balancing and unblocking of chakras has been the ethos of Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. Herbs often work better than man-made drugs because plants work with our chakra system and this is where healing happens.
How does Cannabis heal through the chakra system?
Cannabis is the only plant that can open our chakras up wide enough to accommodate the 432 Hz frequency vibration. This is the frequency of love, harmony and balance. This is the frequency where we are able to achieve higher levels of thinking and this is what leads to wisdom. Most importantly it is the frequency where healing takes place in the body but all the chakras must be open.
It has been scientifically proven that cells communicate via light carried by neuro-transmitters. The pineal gland is our ‘Crown Chakra’ that is also known as the “Third Eye”. The pineal gland receives the white light of the sun from the lens of our eyes. The white light is broken down into the full spectrum of the seven colors of light that is distributed by the pineal gland. These are also the seven colors of the rainbow in the creation. When the body needs to make blood, the pineal gland sends out red light. If the body needs bile, the pineal gland sends out green light for instance.
Cannabis helps us to harvest vitamin D
We all desperately need vitamin D from the sun to ensure a healthy pineal gland. Vitamin D deficiency is the greatest cause of calcification of the pineal gland, followed by fluoride. If you are vitamin D deficient your pineal gland will not function properly and neither will the other chakras.
There’s a definite link between vitamin D deficiency and visual functioning in older people, especially in respect of visual clarity. It shouldn’t therefore surprise us that a great number of people suffering from glaucoma are also vitamin D deficient.
Cannabis can help us to absorb this vital vitamin which we need to keep perfect balance in the body. Vitamin D deficiency always leads to imbalance in the body and definite disease. This means that everyone who is sick is also vitamin D deficient. There’s a strong link between cancers and brain abnormalities and vitamin D deficiency, for example autism, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Cannabis stimulates the pineal gland to absorb vitamin D from the sun.
All fat-soluble vitamins are in fact hormones
Vitamins A, D, E, F and K are the fat-soluble vitamins and they also function as hormones.
Cannabis helps us to absorb and metabolize all the fat-soluble vitamins that we need to maintain balance in the body. Fat-soluble vitamins are important neuro-regulatory steroid-hormones that control thousands of our genes. For example vitamin D switches on and off the genes that prevent many diseases, including cancer, osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Over 70% of people suffering from chronic conditions like fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes for example, are vitamin D deficient. The link between the symptoms of sleep disorders and problems of the digestive tract and vitamin D deficiency are clear. Cannabis can help us to harvest vitamin D that controls more than 3000 of our 25 000 genes.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and also possesses osteogenic, androgenic and progesterone-like properties. Again we can see how fat-soluble vitamins have hormone-like effects on our body. Vitamin E plays a crucial role in our endocrine and nervous systems by working to balance all of our hormones. The role of vitamin E is well established, and medically significant in the prevention of chronic diseases.
Cannabis doesn’t only promote internal balance in the body but also external balance. It takes care of body balance at every level of biological life through its activities in the ECS. Cannabis regulates everything from blood pressure to body temperature to hormonal balance and everything in between. This happens from the sub-cellular to the organism and perhaps even to the community and beyond.
Cannabis can help us to raise our consciousness and this leads to balance in the body
By using Cannabis to work with our chakras, we can enable ourselves to access certain states of ecstasy. Further, we can also successfully increase the working capacity of our brains. By working with the chakras we can slow down the aging process and even experience ever-lasting life as some believe. Good health and longevity can be achieved by bringing the body into balance by using Cannabis. But complete and holistic healing is only possible when all the chakras are fully open.
Cannabis is known to alter human behavior, our moods and most certainly our consciousness. Cannabis promotes the idea of contributing and participating, humor and creativity, and feelings of euphoria and positive vibrations. These feelings prove that if you feel better you will be better, and if you are better you will feel even better. Cannabis brings the body into complete balance so that we can enjoy our lives and not suffer from chronic diseases.
In last week’s post (https://mushigoatseedco.com/cannabis-and-brain-cells-the-truth/) we learnt that 1 in 4 people worldwide are suffering from mental illness and this includes depression. Depression is also a hormonal condition because when hormonal serotonin and dopamine levels are low we become depressed. This means that the emotional symptoms we experience from normal life-stresses are caused by hormonal imbalances.
Cannabis restores balance in the body, even where there is only a slight imbalance
People become depressed and are prescribed SSRI drugs (anti-depressants), and these are all Prozac-based. Some people are even prescribed anti-epileptic drugs with serious side-effects like weight-gain, gastric stress and sexual dysfunction. Cannabis is a far more suitable alternative and does not have any negative side-effects. Cannabis stimulates the pineal gland to increase our absorption and manufacture of the hormones we need to feel better. (More about Cannabis and hormones in next week’s post)
Looking to the future…
We know that with old age comes the natural deterioration of cells, tissues, organs, memory and brain function. However, we know that in Cannabis we have a plant-companion that offers us new brain cells, bodily and hormonal balance. Cannabis helps us to absorb vitamin D, which is crucial to preventing conditions like Alzheimer’s and dementia, as well as cancer. This makes Cannabis the perfect supplement to reverse age-related body and brain deterioration.
We should perhaps consider that for many people their lifestyles might quite literally be killing them. Our ancestors lived longer and less stressful lives because their ‘jobs’ were not a source of stress and illness. Cannabis not only stimulates the production of new brain cells but also restores balance to our bodies. Cannabis plays an important role in the ageing process as we approach the end of our physical lives. This scientific fact is possibly of greatest importance when we consider everything that Cannabis can do for us.
